drhouse 01/04/25 called it drhouse because of the mellow sound it got. the specific tone was achieved with a patch on a granular effect plugin (Emergence), i like to think of it as emulating a tape head. i can control the speed and slow it down, which gives me these weird upper frequencies when the bass plays
jakespancakes 12/30/24 very cute, play me some BMO sounds
wtf a bit before 02/24/25 at that point i discovered this very heavily compressed sound. also like using some of the orchestra samples laying around my computer.
minimalist 02/04/25 actually has a pretty solid organisation in terms of parts. went very experimental with the samples, got the chord one with some harmonicas maybe and by playing with a lowpass filter. goes well with the next one. i like how well incorporated the different drum samples are in this one
loneleave 02/20/25 i forgot if i made this the same day as the previous one, nonetheless still pretty similar in terms of sequencing as minimalist. sample comes from "Star Time 2" by Squarepusher
excess+intro 03/13/25 you'd maybe recognize the first part as a weird "Once In A Lifetime" sample by Talking Heads, which has nothing to do with the rest of the song. thought it was cool to put it there. the rest is a resample of a drum loop i made in ableton. on the first half there's also this snappy gated effect that i like to reuse a lot in similar audios...
dollarfood 03/15/25 ...like this. also reused the orchestra samples i talked about
flute 03/31/25 resembles drhouse but not as good. used it in some granular experiment too. you can hear the "tape" speeding up and slightly changing the tone
almost 04/15/25 buildup of a sample i recorded from probably a chinese radio throught a websdr. that stuff is so fun to check out but watch out for what you record
messy but kindo good 04/28/25 fooling around with an fm chip soundfont. sounds very sonic-y !
louischords 04/30/25 reason why i named it "louischords" is because it reminded me of this era where i made really shitass chord progressions feeling inspired by louischord that also ahd this cute sound. fun suff. drums are from "Nlogax" by Boards of Canada and another song by probably Bogdan Raczynski's alt artist profile on spotify
bast 05/22/25 very serious. let's serious it up.
bac 06/12/25 little song i made right before a huge exam. played and recorded everything except the drums, which i'm very proud of, sounds very old. might come back to this later
loudattention a bit after 06/15/25 as the title says PLEASE turn down your volume
chinasampledTWICE 07/01/25 would you look at that sampling a second time chinese radio. this one sounds nicer tho
loopawhile 08/11/25 fooling around with an fl studio stock synth got me some good stuff going. i can't stop thinking about carti even though it sounds more about daft punk more than anything
somethingsomething drums 08/15/25 experiment with resonators, sounds very big and very tube-y, a quality i find with resonators.
snuippet1µziq 10/10/25 i find that the drums are a bit screechy. got heavy syncopation on the bass, wanted to play with synths. also surprising to find that i haven't made anything in september
mangle 10/11/25 first i sampled "Shik Shak Shok", then it turned into another snappy serious beat. i like it.
mangleTWO 10/18/25 but obviously i did more than that ! really trying to work on having a neat bass sound when recording, bc most of the time it sounds like muffled shit
midichorsdvsg 10/27/25 absolutely love to play with midi soundfonts. all that sits on top of a piano chord sample that was processed through a transient gate plugin
intriga 12/24/25 remixed the tubular drums thing along with some faint midi drums in the background that you probably can't hear
sprid i refuse to belive it was made the 12/24/25 achieved the piano thing with some pitch shifter fuckery, but then added drums. not particularly fond of how it turned out, not the vibe i really wanted out of it
goodmorningjungle 10/31/25 at 4:57 this is what staying up all night does to a mf. sounds good to me
bootleg 11/26/25 probably among my best work. all the samples that's in this audio come from a vinny vinesauce video playing a specific bootleg 500 in 1 console type thing. reason why i did this is because i recognized the games that were played and i really really want to see them again. for some reason i'm pretty attached to that shitty console, that i never found again. this song is probably an hommage to all that.
